Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana, on a contract basis. In this role, you will evaluate financial data, assess creditworthiness, and contribute to commercial credit decisions. This position requires someone with strong multitasking skills, excellent attention to detail, expertise in credit policies and procedures, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. What you can expect to do on a daily basis: • Evaluate financial statements and credit applications to determine customer creditworthiness. • Analyze commercial credit data using tools such as Dun & Bradstreet. • Approve credit limits based on established policies and procedures. • Maintain and update customer account information to ensure accuracy. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve credit-related issues and provide excellent customer service. • Provide insights and recommendations to improve credit processes. • Prepare detailed reports on credit evaluations and account statuses. • Proven experience in credit analysis, including commercial credit. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas. • Familiarity with tools like Dun & Bradstreet for credit assessments. • Strong understanding of credit policies and procedures. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and customer service abilities. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
