AskRose, Assistant Director for Operations and EducationSummary: Coordinate the AskRose program by performingthe following duties:Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities include thefollowing:Supervises dailyoperations of the AskRose tutoring programRecruits, trains, schedules,evaluates, and maintains communication with Rose-Hulman student tutorsCreates continuing educationalmaterials and modules to tutorsUpdates, maintains,and ensures running of the contact center (computers, software, websites,databases, streaming videos, apps, websites, etc.)Coordinates withtechnology partners and vendorsIdentifies academicsupport materials and learning modules which parallel current science andmathematics initiatives in the Indiana middle and high schoolsCreates educationalmaterials (math, science, and standardized testing) for the websiteIdentifies, initiates,and maintains community partnershipsParticipates in regionaland/or national educational organizationsPrepares and updatesstatistical reports and graphsAssists with programassessmentAssists with grant andreport writingOther duties may beassignedSupervisoryResponsibilities: Supervises studenttutorsReasonable accommodations may be made to enableindividuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/orExperience: Bachelor's degree in math, science, computer science, oreducation related discipline required; master's degree preferred; minimum of three to five years of professional experience required; strongorganizational and communication skills are essential; knowledge ofspreadsheets and Access database software preferred.
