The Assistant Professor of Nursing position is tenure track. Position begins August 1, 2025 or when filled.Duties/ResponsibilitiesThis position will assume classroom teaching responsibilities as well as clinical supervision of students in the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs.Required Knowledge and SkillsCandidates must hold a doctoral degree and an unencumbered Indiana (or compact) RN license. Candidates in the process of completing their doctoral degree will be considered. The successful candidate must possess a doctoral degree by the start date of employment.About the CollegeThe faculty in the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions work collaboratively with nursing and other health care professional faculty. The support for facultys teaching, practice and scholarship activities are substantially enhanced through grants and other extramural funding. A cutting-edge Clinical Simulation Center is used to enhance student learning and support innovative teaching.The college, in addition to university support, has a four-person technology team that supports the online and in-classroom teaching for the MSN and DNP program courses. A dedicated Advising Center for Kinney College provides support for student advising and related activities.
