Indianapolis, IN/Full-time Onsite There is a unique opportunity
within Indianapolis Operations to join the Central ME Improvement
Team. Rather than supporting a single department or
component/component family, this role provides Quality, Cost,
Delivery (QCD) improvement support across all Indianapolis
manufacturing facilities. The selected candidate will use DMAIC
methodology, lean principles, and data driven problem solving to
identify enterprise level opportunities and drive measurable
improvement. This position offers broad exposure across multiple
product lines and the ability to make a significant impact on

doing The Process Improvement Manufacturing Engineer will lead data
driven improvement initiatives using DMAIC, lean, and structured
problem-solving techniques. This role evaluates performance trends
across all Indianapolis manufacturing facilities, identifies
systemic issues, and deploys sustainable solutions that improve
Quality, Cost, and Delivery. The engineer will partner with
operations, quality, design engineering, logistics, and leadership
teams to drive continuous improvement at scale and enable
standardized best practices across the enterprise. Key
Accountabilities /n - Apply DMAIC, lean principles, and structured
problem solving to identify, validate, and execute high impact QCD
improvement projects. /n - Analyze operational and business
performance data to identify the top drivers of variation, waste,
and inefficiency across all Indianapolis facilities. /n -
Facilitate cross-functional root cause analysis, kaizen events, and
continuous improvement workshops. /n - Conduct time studies,
workflow assessments, and labor efficiency analyses to identify
improvement opportunities and validate process changes. /n -
Develop and deploy standard work, process controls, and waste
reduction strategies that deliver measurable and sustainable
improvements. Support development and maintenance of Technical
Package elements required for process control and product
integrity. /n - Partner with ME teams and plant leadership to align
improvement priorities, processes, reduce variation, and replicate
best practices across sites. /n - Ensure alignment of method of
manufacture with design intent through frequent collaboration with

Requirements: /n - An Associates of Science degree in Engineering
or Engineering Technology with 4 years of experience in a
manufacturing environment, OR /n - A Bachelor of Science degree in
Engineering or Engineering Technology with 2 years of experience in
a manufacturing environment, OR /n - A Master of Science degree in
Engineering or Engineering Technology, OR /n - A JR/PhD, OR /n - In
lieu of a degree, 6 years' experience in Machining Operations or
Engineering in addition to having experience with the preferred
requirements listed below /n - In order to be considered for this
opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen /n /n Preferred
Requirements: /n - Accredited Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master
Black Belt preferred: Green Belt acceptable. /n - Demonstrated
experience leading DMAIC and lean improvement events. /n - Proven
and quantifiable process improvement experience strongly preferred,
including measurable gains in quality, cost, delivery, throughput,
or waste reduction. /n - Strong analytical skills, including
statistical analysis, capability evaluation, and performance
modeling. /n - Experience with PFMEA, PPAP, control plans, and
process capability improvement. /n - Ability to influence and lead
cross functional teams without direct authority. /n - Experience
with aerospace manufacturing processes, tolerances, and
