Maintenance Mechanic Job Description As a Maintenance Engineer in a
dry corn milling facility, you will be responsible for maintaining,
diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on
equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your role is
crucial in minimizing downtime and ensuring the safety and
reliability of the facility's machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on machinery and
equipment, including pumps, conveying systems, piping, heat
exchangers, power transmissions, and other power-driven rotating
equipment. Repair or replace faulty parts and components. Conduct
regular inspections and maintenance checks. Clean, lubricate, and
adjust machinery and equipment. Maintain accurate records of
maintenance activities and equipment performance. Collaborate with
other team members and departments to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Participate
in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment
performance and reduce costs. Essential Skills Troubleshooting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 -
$32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may
depend on your job classification and length of employment.
