Collaborative and positive team culture.ResponsibilitiesRevolution is looking for a Senior Technical Sales Manager for its Terre Haute, IN, location. We are looking for a proven Sales leader who is dynamic, ambitious, and highly energetic with a passion for consistently surpassing volume and profitability goals. This position will fuel Revolution's Sustainable loop process by solving customer challenges through product solutions and technical support. This role will work hand in hand with the sales team, providing technical information and application solutions.Understand market and customer requirements, including applications, processes and product needs.Support sales team by characterizing and understanding plastic scrap sources - allowing us to formulate salable resin products.Support sales team by helping customers implement the use of PCR and PIR resins.Use analytical testing and data to problem solve and support customers.Understand how to translate technical information into a customer value proposition.Project Management - able to scope and drive a project to completion, sometimes using a stage gate development process.Understand recycle and plastic market trends and help us adapt our products and capabilities.Scan the industry for new technologies and choose appropriately what capabilities to add to our business.Identify and support implementation of cost out/efficiency and product optimization opportunities.QualificationsBS or equivalent in engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, polymer science.Desired 10+ years in the plastics or packaging industry. Ideally, but not required, specific experience in blown film conversion, plastic recycling, recycle trading, or plastic extrusion.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong project management skills, specifically product development stage gate process.Technical competence in polymer science and plastic conversion processes.Demonstrated effective communication skills - written, oral and inter-personal.Data collection and analysis, use of statistics.Ability to manage and coordinate product scale up and trials.Working knowledge of laboratory test methods for plastics.Ability to interface and influence a wide range of individuals across various functions.Strong Microsoft Office skills.ABOUT REVOLUTIONIt's time to redefine possible.
