We offer cardiovascular services, including open-heart and cardiac catheterization; oncology services, which include radiation therapy and outpatient infusion' labor and delivery, including a neonatal intensive care unit; inpatient mental health unit; and other specialized care areas, including intensive care and inpatient rehabilitation units.-- --- -HCA:-- -62nd on Fortune's 100 ListOne of the-- -largest healthcare systems-- -in the U.S.Ranked by Fortune as a-- -Most Admired Company-- -Named by Ethisphere one of the-- -World's Most Ethical Companies-- -What will you be doing?Assisting the Director and Manager by coordinating emergency care service's daily operations, including staffing, daily rounding, documentation requirements and in the clinical quality of emergency services being performed.Enforces departmental policies, procedures, protocols, regulations and standards.Accountable to all phases of staff development including recruitment, orientation, retention, supervision, competency and professional growth.Assists with and provides input to the Director and Manager for employee performance management plansCoordinates services within the department and with other departments.Mentor, students, staff and physicians on clinical issues and serves as positive example to employees, patients and families.-- -Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing as an RN. Current licensure as an RN in the state of Indiana or RN compact state license required.Current certification as a-- -BLS Healthcare Provider.ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certified within 6 months of hire. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.Minimum of 5 years of RN experience in a Critical Care or Emergency Department setting with demonstrated proficiency in leadership and management skills required.-- --- -We value YOU and your future!-- -We are committed to providing our employees with the support they need.
