  • Performs and documents physical/mental assessment according to policy and procedure for patients within unit's Scope of Care
  • Utilize equipment and performs special procedures relevant to unit
  • Administers medication following five rights of medication administration
  • Update/documents discharge planning and patient teaching
  • Communicates effectively and professionally with peers, supervisors, ancillary departments and all other external/internal customers. What qualifications you will need:
    • Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing LPN program required
    • Current State of Indiana or compact state LPN license
    • BLS required
    • ACLS and NIHSS Stroke certification required within 6 months of hire
    • Demonstrated proficiency in basic nursing skills, including phlebotomy This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
