We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and Qualifications What will you be doing in this role: Performs initial and on-going physical and nursing assessment according to accepted standards of nursing practiceAssesses plans and evaluates patient care needs Carries out physician ordersAdministers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signsParticipates in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives and interventions appropriate to the age-related and problem-specific needs of each patientImplements nursing plan of care for assigned patients and conducts and/or co-leads group therapy sessions for patientsEvaluates patient's response to interventions and revises nursing plan of care as needed Collaborates with the treatment team to revise goals, objectives and interventions appropriate to the changes in patient statusMonitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems Instructs and educates patients and familiesAssesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare teamOrients and mentors new staff members What qualifications you will need: Current Indiana RN licensure or active Compact State RN licensure. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (RN)Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.BLS Certification Crisis Prevention Certification training completion within 30 days of hire This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
