Your responsibilities

SUMMARY: Administers policies relating to health, safety and environmental while occasionally assisting human resources. Has the responsibility for the implementation, conformity and performance of the Health, Safety & Environmental processes at all Presta North America locations by proactive monitoring and implementation of necessary requirements, with additional Management of Environmental Requirements, identification, evaluation and improvement of important environmental aspects and relevant processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for maintaining thyssenkrupp Presta's Safety program.
• Conduct safety training with all thyssenkrupp Presta employees.
• Assist HS&E Manager on improving, monitoring and implementing change of the Occupational Health and Safety Management system (OHSAS 45001) & Environmental system (ISO 14001).
• Investigate and administer workers compensation claims.
• Investigate and administer incident and other injury claims.
• Responsible for updating Safety Manual as needed to comply with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Responsible for preparing, coordinating and updating the Emergency Action Plan.
• Administer thyssenkrupp Presta's Near Miss Program and assign action items as necessary.
• Attend S2QDC meetings at specified times for individual lines.
• Facilitate the safety team meetings for Factory Safety Team (FST) to lead safety and ergonomic efforts.
• Assist Human Resources with other departmental functions as necessary.
• Responsible for preparing and coordinating all Environmental Programs.
• Implement continuous improvements.
• International travel will be required occasionally.
• Assist Human Resources with the administration of the training and development process and maintenance of training records for hourly and salary personnel. Your profile
  
  Education and/or Experience:
  
  BA or BS in related field and 2-4 years' experience preferred.
