SMART is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum coverage in Terre Haute, IN Shift Type: Varied Est. Shifts: 14 Est. Hours: Shift(s) Description:7am-7pm Weekend Requirements:Yes
Details Include: Hospitalist Profile:

• Patient population - mainly adult & elderly; 15% are pediatric
• 24-hours of physician coverage daily; 12-hour shifts
• 7 on/7 off block schedule
• 12-hours APP coverage daily; 12-hour shifts
• 1 APP in-house at night
• Hospitalists respond to codes
• Open ICU; pulmonologist available
• No procedures
• Meditech EMRSUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have IN license and DEA at time of presentation
  • Must have clean malpractice/background for temp privs
  • Must be Board Certified IM/FP
  • Must send self-query NPDB and EPA with presentation
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 7 shifts in a row
  • Must be able to work day and night shifts
  • Must be Board Certified- 5 yearsCERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
    • ACLS
    • ATLS
    • BLS
    • Board Certified
    • DEA
    • PALSSTATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
