36 hours per week, 7a-7:30p with rotating weekends and
holidays.Information about our Inpatient Physical Rehab Unit:
-Interdisciplinary collaboration with family, occupational therapy,
Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Case Management, and
Physicians -Private 12-Bed Inpatient Physical Rehab Unit -Nurse to
patient ratios based on acuity -Gain experience with Neurological
Diagnosis such as Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Spinal Disorders,
Orthopedics and others -Conduct Interdisciplinary Rounds -Shared
Governance councils

is seeking a passionate and collaborative RN to join our amazing
close-knit Inpatient Rehab unit. As part of the Rehab Team you will
work along with therapy staff to treat patients recovering from
trauma, cardiac issues, stroke, neurological conditions, brain and
spinal cord injuries and medically complicated patients. If you're

apply today!What will you be doing in this role:
- You will demonstrate ability to work with and effectively
communicate with all patients, family members, physicians and
employees in a tactful and cooperative manner.
- As a member of our team you will set priorities and modify
patient care in response to changing and sometimes stressful
situations by utilizing problem solving skills and exhibiting good
judgement.
- Some key responsibilities for you in this role will be to
perform prescribed treatments and evaluate patient's signs and
symptoms while observing and recording patient reactions to
medication, I.V. therapy, blood transfusions and other treatments
into Meditech.
- You will coordinate both patient admission and discharge plans
with case manager, patient and family while maintaining a written
plan of nursing care or critical pathways and communicating
clinical outcomes as well as needed education to patient and/or
family.
- Members of our team actively participate in the orientation of
new personnel, attend weekly team meetings and have willingness to
identify or assume activities relative to the developmental needs
of unit and the nursing department.What qualifications you will
need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
- Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing
required (Associate's degree)
- Current State of Indiana Registered Nurse license and active
Compact State RN license required
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred has provided quality
