Registered Nurse (RN) - CV Stepdown The CV Stepdown Registered Nurse cares for patients transitioning from intensive cardiac care to a less acute setting. This role focuses on close monitoring, patient education, and support during recovery. Key Responsibilities: Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics, intervening as needed. Assess patient readiness for stepdown and coordinate safe transfers. Provide ongoing education on cardiac health, medications, and lifestyle changes. Collaborate with cardiology teams to optimize patient outcomes. Document all care activities and changes in patient status. Work Environment: Within a specialized stepdown or progressive care unit.
