Job Description:

Country View Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our technicians are an important part of patient care, helping during appointments and procedures. You'll assist with exams, prepare patients for surgery, monitor anesthesia, assist with dental procedures, and follow treatment plans. You'll also answer client questions and provide clear, compassionate education. In this role, you'll work closely with your team to follow the veterinarian's instructions and help keep both appointments and procedures on track. This role is a great fit for techs who are strong communicators, good at juggling tasks, and want to use their full skill set in a variety of settings. This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule, availability needed Monday-Saturday Full-Time Benefits and Compensation: Compensation: $20-$22 per hour, for each hour worked* Bonus Package: $2,000 Continuing Education (CE) Allowance: $500 in the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter Health Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life & Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program 401k Options Uniform Assistance 6 Paid Holidays Personal Pet Discounts (with Free Exams) Minimum Qualifications & Skillset: Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Illinois 1-3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Proficiency in: Anesthesia induction and monitoring Surgical assisting, preparation, and cleanup Dentistry, including cleaning/scaling and radiology Venipuncture and cystocentesis Client communication and education About Us: At Country View Veterinary Clinic in Champaign, Illinois, our dedicated team is committed to providing top-quality care for pets while fostering strong relationships with their owners.
