The rapid uptake of LillyDirect since its launch underscores the significant unmet need of people struggling to navigate the complex U.S. health care system. As such, we are seeking to expand our offerings and scale business operations to enable better outcomes for patients. We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist with a background in managing pharmacy operations, ideally in an online or warehouse direct-to-patient environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations, and a commitment to patient safety and compliance. The position will support LillyDirect regarding all aspects of direct to patient pharmacy, including input on operational aspects, licensing and regulatory compliance, various process flows/models of pharmacy operations, acts of pharmacy knowledge across states, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Provide consultation and team support for technical and regulatory knowledge and activity regarding pharmacy. - Support Lilly commercial oversight and issue resolution - When needed, verify accuracy of prescription orders and resolve issues with prescribers and/or patients. - Work with Quality Assurance in ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice and patient confidentiality. - Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, commercial operations, customer support, IT) to streamline processes and enhance patient satisfaction. - Provide guidance and support to external pharmacy staff/operations, addressing any operational challenges, in collaboration with commercial leadership. - Review and improve workflow processes to optimize efficiency and patient care. - Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements related to direct to patient pharmacy operations, translates those into operational changes to facilitate state of the art execution -Ability to understand/improve processes and systems to support pharmacy -Minimum in-office hours: Tuesday through Thursday, 10am to 4pm Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. - Active Indiana pharmacist license in good standing - Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacy operations. Additional Preferences: - Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for online or warehouse-based pharmacies. - Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. The anticipated wage for this position is $122,250 - $179,300 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
