qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Bloomington, Indiana, 47408! Pay
Information $2,257 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum of 1.5 years required License: Indiana or compact license
required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have:
- Required Triage experience - Must circulate and assist in the
operating room Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse
specializing in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will be expected to
work three 12-hour night shifts per week. Every other weekend
availability is required. Floating to the postpartum unit and NICU
may be necessary if needed. The unit operates at a Level 2 OB and
has a Level 3 NICU. Common patient diagnoses include pre-eclampsia,
hypertensive disorders, gestational diabetes, preterm labor,
intrauterine growth restrictions, and labor inductions. Special
procedures include versions, cerclages, non-stress tests, and
various deliveries, including cesarean sections and postpartum
tubal ligations. The facility has a full range of equipment,
including wireless fetal monitors and specialized rooms. All
travelers must be willing to float within the hospital or nearby
affiliate hospitals. This position is open to qualified applicants
who meet the experience and certification requirements.
