Charge RNs will receive a pay increase. Charge Nurses are expected
to take a limited patient assignment if staffing requires. PCU is
budgeted at a 3:1 with a maximum ratio of 4:1, and a full
assignment for Charge is 2:1. PCU RNs will be at 4:1 before Charge
goes into staffing. The unit requires telemetry, IV start, cardiac
and vasoactive drips, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen skills. Level I,
II, III, or IV experience is required. Experience with vents,
charge nurse roles, and conscious sedation is preferred. This is a
cardiac and medical PCU, serving as a true ICU step-down unit with
heart caths and cardiac drips. Candidates must work 2 out of 3
major holidays. Floating to meet facility needs is required. Local
applicants are not accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted.
