Job Title: Travel RN PACU Profession: RN Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00-19:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting License: Active compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: BLS ACLS PALS Description: The position is for a Travel RN in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The duration of this role is 13 weeks. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. An active compact license is required upon submission. BLS certification is required. ACLS and PALS certifications are also required. The role involves 1-2 nights of call per week and 2-3 weekend shifts over a 4-week schedule. The unit consists of 10 beds and has 2 staff members on duty. The patient ratio in the unit is typically 1-2 patients per nurse. The equipment used includes electronic medical records (EMR). Common procedures performed in the unit include postoperative general, urological, orthopedic, obstetric, and robotic cases. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and be adaptable to changing environments. A good personality fit for this position is essential. Rotating weekday night call and rotating weekend call are required. Candidates should follow the unit's dress code guidelines and policies.
