Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel MRI Technologist (MR) - Outpatient Job Summary: We are looking for a talented MRI Technologist with Outpatient experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Terre Haute, Indiana. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your magnetic resonance imaging skills while advancing your career. The job will entail operating sophisticated medical imaging equipment. You care about patients and take responsibility for their safety and mental and physical comfort. You will prepare and position patients for capture of diagnostic images, operate the MRI machine, and provide clear images to physician. Job Responsibilities: - Interpret physician instructions and explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures to patients. - Select software options and imaging parameters when adjusting an MRI machine. - Prepare patients for procedures, which may include injecting dyes, administering sedation, and maneuvering disabled patients.
