working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in
Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202! Job Title: Registered Nurse

to start date Certifications: - ACLS - BCLS Must-Have: - Proficient
in cardiac monitoring - Experience in management of chest tubes -
Fresh tracheostomy and total laryngectomy experience - Feeding tube
care and management - Care of post-operative patients - Management
of epidurals - Experience with non-titratable cardiac drips -
Familiarity with IV insulin protocols and titration Description:
First-time travelers are accepted. Locals are not accepted.
Travelers are expected to work every other weekend as per the
contract. Based on operational needs, consecutive weekends may be
required. Travelers may be expected to float to different levels of
care including Med-Surg and ICU. Management reserves the right to
assign charge nurse responsibilities, pending operational needs.
Travelers may be asked to precept and/or allow students to shadow
them during their assignment. Staffing ratios are 1 nurse for every
3-4 patients. The unit provides care for surgical patients with
various procedures including ENT surgeries, thoracic surgeries,
general surgeries, and urology patients. Candidates with experience
in PCU or ICU are preferred. Travelers must adhere to all floating
requirements within the facility. Experience with managing arterial
and central lines, as well as enteral feedings, is highly
desirable. The unit will provide interdisciplinary support from
various services including physical therapy and respiratory
services. All contracted travelers must be willing to comply with
