Registered Nurse (RN) | Home Health Location: Indianapolis, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,431 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Proficient in HomeCare HomeBase and OASIS Description: Provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders. Nursing care is based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible to the Clinical Manager. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Home visits are required. Periodic office meetings may be scheduled. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Points are assigned based on different types of visits and activities such as documentation and travel. The contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points. No guaranteed hours are provided. If the contractor is unable to meet financial needs due to low patient census, they may discuss floating to a nearby location to pick up hours. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment. Delayed and incomplete documentation that affects billing and follow-up patient care may result in cancellation. The contractor must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned care center. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The contractor is compensated for travel from patient home to patient home. There may be an on-call rotation every 3-4 weeks. A detailed understanding of expectations and responsibilities specific to home health assignments is essential. All applicants must have experience using HomeCare HomeBase and OASIS within the last 6 months, or must complete a retraining course. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
