Description: The purpose of this position is to provide exceptional
nursing care to patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant unit.
Responsibilities include managing hematology and bone marrow
transplant patients. The nurse will be engaged in providing blood
and electrolyte replacement, long-term IV therapy, and chemotherapy
administration. Patient ratios will vary from 1:1 to 1:3, depending
on patient needs. The nurse will also perform neuro assessments and
collaborate with physical therapy teams. Equipment utilized
includes vents, Alaris pumps, monitors, and patient lifts. Ideal
candidates will be team players who are proactive in seeking
knowledge and enhancing their skills. They should demonstrate a
commitment to patient care and treat patients and staff with
respect and kindness. This role requires a willingness to help
colleagues and participate in team-oriented tasks. Dress code
includes approved scrubs and attire without unauthorized branding.
Candidates must be open to floating to similar units, which may
include critical care and stepdown units. This position offers a
