You will support young people in achieving emotional, behavioral, and relational wellness through assessment, treatment planning, therapy, crisis support, and coordination with community systems. Core Responsibilities Assessment & Treatment Planning Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and youth/family screenings. Develop clinically sound, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with youth and caregivers. Identify strengths, needs, and goals using a person-centered, trauma-informed approach. Therapeutic Services Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT-informed approaches, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused interventions). Deliver developmentally appropriate interventions tailored to children and adolescents. Support healthy family functioning and improve communication patterns within the home. Care Coordination & System Collaboration Coordinate services with schools, pediatricians, DCFS, juvenile justice, and other community partners. Provide case consultation to families and external providers to ensure integrated care. Assist youth and families in accessing community-based resources and support services. Crisis Response & Support Participate in crisis intervention, safety planning, and de-escalation during acute episodes. Support youth and caregivers in navigating stressful or emergent situations. Documentation & Professional Practice Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record. Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities. Uphold ethical standards and maintain strong professional boundaries. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of child and adolescent development, family systems, and youth-specific treatment modalities. Strong therapeutic skills, especially in trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions. Ability to build rapport with youth and families from diverse backgrounds. Competence in diagnostic assessment and treatment planning. Effective communication and collaboration with caregivers, schools, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to respond to crises calmly and effectively. Cultural humility and sensitivity to diverse populations. Qualifications Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or a related human services field. Ability to obtain LPC, LSW, or CADC within 2 years of hire.
