year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. This contract position seeks a skilled Sign Language
Interpreter to provide telehealth services within a school setting.
The role focuses on facilitating clear and effective communication
between students, educators, and healthcare providers using
American Sign Language (ASL) via remote platforms. Responsibilities
include: Delivering accurate sign language interpretation during
telehealth sessions to support educational and healthcare outcomes.
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and medical professionals
to ensure complete understanding and accessibility. Maintaining
confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards specific to
educational and health-related communications. Managing scheduling
and availability to accommodate varied appointment times. Desired
qualifications and experience: Proficiency in American Sign
Language with demonstrable interpreting skills. Experience working
in educational or clinical telehealth environments. Strong
understanding of Deaf culture and sensitivity in communication.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Familiarity with
telecommunication technology and platforms used in telehealth
