Background in Critical Care/Cardiac Critical Care - Open heart
recovery experience - Post cardiac procedure recovery Description:
This position involves caring for patients in a specialized
cardiovascular unit. The unit has 8 beds, with a patient ratio of
1:1 to 1:3. Patient population includes post-surgical management
for cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries, thoracotomies, TAVRs,
and post-complex PCI interventions. Procedures performed include
post-open heart care and post-cardiac procedures. Other
responsibilities include surgical, central line placements,
arterial line placements, and chest tube placements. Familiarity
with Edwards monitoring, GE monitoring, and SWAN Ganz catheters is
