Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: /n Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM /n• Call requirement of 90-120 hours in a 6-week schedule /n• First-time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience /n• Minimum 2 years of experience required /n• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required /n• Travel experience required /n• Required certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA /n• Must have expertise in vascular and thoracic surgery cases /n• Specialized skills include: receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD, Heart & Lung Transplant, Valve Replacement, and Aortic Dissection /n• AM shift focuses on peripheral vascular side requiring more vascular than cardiovascular experience /n• PM shift focuses on cardiovascular cases with heart and lung experience preferred /n• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations /n• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby /n• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays /n• Two pre-approved time off days available /n• Must provide 2-3 days of interview availability when submitting application /n/n Facility: /n This major healthcare facility operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center providing advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services.
