business. What You’ll Be Doing: Lilly is seeking an experienced Sr.
Staff Engineer to play a pivotal role in building transformative
software based AI products across the entire Lilly value chain:
drug discovery, research, manufacturing, go-to-market, and general
knowledge work. As part of the SPE organization, you will provide
technical leadership and contribution to cutting-edge AI products.
How You’ll Succeed: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers,
promoting best practices and fostering a collaborative and
delivery-oriented environment. Contribute to the design,
development, and implementation of AI products, with a focus on
scalability and performance. Participate in code reviews, technical
discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams, including scientists, researchers, and
business stakeholders Your Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree
in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical
field 10 years of programming experience in languages such as
Python, JS, Go and experience with Kubernetes 5 years of software
engineering leadership experience, with a proven track record of
delivering successful projects. Additional Skills/Preferences :
Up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and
regulatory requirements in the life sciences and AI domains.
Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Proficiency
in Python with understanding of async, streaming and other
concepts. Experience in the life sciences or regulated industries
is highly preferred. Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, and
Large Language Models is a plus. Excellent communication,
problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Additional Information:

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $135,000 -
$213,400 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
