Corporate Security Specialist - Protective Services - Decatur,
IL This is a non-exempt level position. Position Summary: The
Corporate Security Specialist Protective Services NA will be
responsible for executing and enhancing ADM Corporate Security
Departments cores services throughout the North American region.
This will include gathering & analyzing security-related
intelligence information from a variety of sources including both
private/public sources in order to evaluate & anticipate security
risks and threats related to ADM’s staff , operations and brand. An
integral part of success in this position will be the ability to
effectively conduct internal investigations aligned with local law
enforcement regulations and internal ADM policies. This position
will create & maintain accurate & timely reports and/or briefings
to be distributed to security leadership and key internal
stakeholders. Additional support will include behavioral threat
assessment duties and direct contact with key law enforcement
partners to alleviate immediate and emerging risks. Job
Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Identify, monitor & analyze the
security environment in North America with the potential to impact
ADM staff and operations, provide timely reporting and mitigation
options to company stakeholders Conduct behavioral threat
assessments related to an integrated workplace violence prevention
program. Confidentially lead internal investigations in compliance
with applicable internal and external laws and policies. Prepare
concise investigative reports and executive summaries, lead verbal
briefings when necessary. Conduct training for internal colleagues
on a wide variety of security related topics. Coordinate security
support for key ADM company events in NA. Establish journey
management strategies for company staff to mitigate risk during
periods of instability. Conduct security and vulnerability
assessments. Support incident response, crisis management, and
emergency preparedness. Conduct due diligence and assess the
capability of both armed and unarmed third party service providers.
Additional Job Responsibilities Develop security related policies
and initiatives per ADM and industry-wide best practices; Conduct
training for internal colleagues on a wide variety of security
related topics; Conduct thorough research projects and provide
management with key findings. Conduct due diligence on security
contractors for both unarmed and armed support needs. Position
Requirements Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10 years of related
professional experience in the security industry, or comparable
equivalence; 10 years of working and independently managing
investigations and associated threat assessments in the public or
private sector. Excellent written and verbal English language
skills, additional language capabilities a plus; Holder of a valid
driver’s license; Must be able to walk, climb and physically move
throughout ADM’s many industrial environments; Good command of
Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point etc.);
Availability to travel on short notice to respond to emergency
security situations throughout North America Technically proficient
and able to learn new tools and skills; Deep understanding physical
security infrastructure components applicability such as CCTV,
Alarm Systems, Perimeter Controls and Access Control Systems.
