Position SummaryThe Executive Assistant provides executive support to the President/CEO and Executive Team with a high level of integrity, confidentiality and sensitivity. This position requires the ability to solve problems, prioritize work assignments and work well under pressure and deadlines. - This position will interact with customers (internal and external), vendors, community leaders, outside agencies, the President/CEO and members of the Board of Directors. - It involves responding to, and effectively managing, many sensitive and confidential matters affecting the operations of the agency. - This position involves interaction with the leadership team and thus requires additional mental efforts involved in performing the job satisfactorily. - -Essential Duties include the following.(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)

Complete a variety of administrative tasks for the President/CEO and Executive Team. Maintains all files necessary for the smooth operation of the President's office, safeguarding all confidential and non-routine information.Answers, screens and routes telephone calls for President/CEO, Executive Team and support office as needed. - Utilizing Outlook Calendar, this position maintains the calendar of the President as well as the calendar for the Board and Committees. - Determines the scheduling of Executive Team meetings and other meetings as assigned. Makes travel and lodging arrangements for the Executive Team as requested.Attends meetings of the Board of Directors and Board Committees as required; distributes and maintains agendas, meeting schedules, meeting materials, committee reports, as well as meeting minutes.Coordinates and schedules onboarding activities for new Board members. Plans and implements special events relating to the Board of Directors and Executive Team.Monitors the schedule book for Board Room, Conference Rooms, Cafeteria/Dining Room, and Company Vehicles.Coordinates rental of the Support Center Kitchen to outside entities. Fulfills duties as Agency Notary. Promotes Goodwill in all activities; staying in touch with what is going on in all areas to keep the President/CEO informed.Promotes cooperation among the departments of the organization.Must be able to understand and successfully apply the tenets of change management, including preparing for, implementation of, and managing organizational change to transition individuals, teams, and organizations from a current state to a desired future state.As required, acts as team leader for task force ad hoc committees evaluating and implementing departmental improvements.Maintains a safe and orderly work environment.Markets Goodwill by educating employees, vendors, customers, and the general public about Goodwill's Mission.Attends and participates in meetings and/or training as directed by CEO. Seeks out opportunities to enhance personal, professional, and vocational development, including involvement in various leadership development opportunities offered within our agency.Represent Goodwill in a professional and positive manner.Demonstrate the ability to treat others with dignity and respect.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Communicate clearly and effectively.This position requires a broad range of strategic and corporate management knowledge along with an understanding of the organization's vision, mission, operations and policies.Possesses a high level of administrative management experience, integrity, confidentiality, discretion and technical skills.Excellent oral, written, and computerized communication skills with excellent grammatical and written presentation skills. Possesses presentation and public speaking skills.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage relationships with leadership team members, employees, board members, and the general public. Adheres to an appropriate set of core values during both good and bad times. Is widely trusted and seen as a direct and truthful individual.Communicates the mission and makes the vision real and "shareable" by everyone. - Approachable and builds rapport easily and well. Can motivate many kinds of individuals and invites input while sharing ownership and recognition.A good organizer who can multi-task and utilize resources to get the job done. Uses logic, honest analysis, and consultation with others to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. -Supervisory Responsibilities - - - No supervisory responsibilities in this position. -Education and or Experience - Bachelor's degree in business, administration, management or related field preferred. Five or more years of corporate executive level support experience preferred. Must possess excellent computer skills to conduct and produce research, word processing, spreadsheets, virtual meetings, and presentations. - -Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver's license and ability to be insured on organization policy. -Safety StatementAssociates are required to follow Goodwill safety rules and regulations, as outlined in Goodwill's employee handbook.
Responsible for reporting any potentially unsafe working conditions.Responsible for reporting any incident/accident that occurs within the shift it occurred.
