Job Description:
Job Description Summary The Lead Production Quality Specialist
is the product quality owner within the assigned business, which
includes product quality reviews associated with the manufacturing
process. This role requires mastery of a body of theoretical
knowledge and requires a developed and strong foundation of
functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies. Job
Description ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Ownership of both quality
assurance and quality control (includes quality assurance of
products, services, manufacturing processes and conformance in
manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, etc.) *
Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or
based upon precedents in the organizations * Work across all levels
of the Terre Haute organization, as well as externally * Specify
needs and communicates about project approach * Perform Quality
systems audits and risk assessments * Coordinate special process
audits and acts as a Liaison with external auditors * Support
nonconformance dispositions and MRB submittals * Coordinate and
support process substantiation, validation and first article
process * Track product Quality Key Process Indicators ( i.e.
Losses and Non-conformances) and coordinate Quality Improvement
Plan to meet goals * Coordinate Cause and Corrective Action
Investigations * Drive Continuous Improvement deliver products as
part of a team REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree from an
accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED
with a minimum of 4 years of Manufacturing experience) + a minimum
of 3 years of Manufacturing experience DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS *
Military manufacturing experience preferred (but not required) *
