Our business is rooted in the core principles of safety, service, and integrity-principles that we deliver on daily for our customers and employees.Purpose of PositionExecutive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified candidates for an EMB-550 aircraft based in Evansville, Indiana, at EVV airport. This is a two-pilot account flying Part 91, with an average of 250 hours annually. Trips are typically single-day with some overnights, scheduled well in advance, mostly on weekdays.This position requires residing within driving distance to EVV airport as it is not commutable.The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds the final responsibility to operate the aircraft safely, compliantly, and efficiently. The PIC ensures compliance with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional service.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEnsures the Safe Operation of Flight:

• Ensures crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory standards.
• Prepares flight plans, performance, and weight and balance calculations for each mission.
• Uses Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to lead briefings and mitigate risks.
• Follows company SOPs and coordinates with personnel as needed. Acts as Grounds and In-Flight Security Coordinator per policy.
• Completes pre-flight checks, monitors aircraft maintenance status, and records discrepancies.
• Ensures aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen) is performed per SOPs.
• Provides passenger briefings and meets special needs, delivering high customer service.
• Uses Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively during all operations.Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience:
  • Provides quality service, identifies improvement opportunities, and resolves service issues.
  • Collaborates with crew and internal partners for consistent service delivery and conflict resolution.Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:
    • Completes required training and maintains recency of experience.
    • Follows SMS protocols and reports safety concerns appropriately.Certifications and LicensesFirst Class Medical CertificateYears of Experience4-6 yearsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs)
      • Preferred experience in corporate/business aviation
      • FAA Type rating in relevant fleet
      • Able to perform essential functions
      • Total flight time: 3500 hours
      • Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
      • Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
      • PIC MEL: 500 hours
      • Instrument: 300 hours
