technology for better outcomes. Position Overview The Associate
Director, Employer Business Development, will report to the AVP,
Lilly Employer Business Development and will partner closely with
the Senior Director, Employer Business Development. Candidates
pursuing this role will play an important role in growing employer
lives with Obesity Management Medication (OMM) coverage through the
buildout and growth of alternative access platforms and services.
This role will be focused on developing competitive intelligence,
market insights and state-of-the-art environmental awareness to
help develop new employer capabilities, as well as drive business
growth and expand Lilly Employer market presence. This individual
will be accountable for helping to build, as well as maintain a
market intelligence capability and sustainable market intelligence
infrastructure. They should be relentlessly focused on the external
employer ecosystem and driven to help grow opt-in for obesity
coverage to get our medicines to more appropriate patients faster.
Key Responsibilities include: Competitive Intelligence and
Opportunity Identification Build deep expertise in the employer
ecosystem through environmental engagement, search and analysis.
Conduct market, competitor, and employer trend analyses, in
collaboration with the Lilly Employer Strategy and Marketing team,
as well as LVA to identify emerging trends, potential service
offerings, market gaps, and growth opportunities. Assist in lead
generation through various channels including Lilly account teams,
online research, networking, events, and cold outreach. Deal
Development Partner with appropriate cross-functional teams to
structure deals, valuations, and negotiation processes. Collaborate
closely with cross-functional Lilly teams including market access,
business development, channel management, contract administration,
platform and product management, marketing, operations, and legal
to help execute partnership agreements and measure effectiveness.
Work cross-functionally to draft and review term sheets,
agreements, and contracts. Track and analyze business development
activities, pipeline, and outcomes to measure effectiveness and
identify areas for improvement. Key deliverables: Develop,
implement and maintain business development insights and
competitive intelligence platform Develop, implement and maintain
External Relationship Management (ERM) tracking system for business
development engagements and leads Develop and oversee
cross-functional employer-related contracting and deal development
processes and procedures ? ? Basic Requirements: ? Bachelor’s
degree in business, marketing or related field At least three
year’s experience in marketing or related business function

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $127,500 -
$204,600 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
