The objective of this position is to focus on building and providing a production schedule in weekly increments to the manufacturing department. This position is responsible for production planning and scheduling within the manufacturing area. Additional responsibilities include focusing on long range planning for the manufacturing department including batch creations in the system to drive MRP requirements; also plans and schedules for future orders while also helping to establish right size F/G inventory levels to meet customer demands and minimize the negative impacts on daily production. The Production Planning Coordinator position will work in conjunction with the Manufacturing S/V's, Replenishment Coordinator, and Inventory Control Coordinator making sure that scheduled requirements are being met or adjustments are being made in conjunction with manpower or raw material availability.

1. Production schedule review and adjustments (run sequence, change over reduction/sequence, FSQ clean-out reduction/sequence)

2. Production planning based on Forecast (Long Range)

3. Creation of Production schedule (Weekly increments)

4. Batch entry > /= (30) days

5. Identification of right size inventory levels

6. Coordinates manufacturing line/process availability for maintenance planning

7. Production metric data analysis and entry as determined by manager

8. Process Validation trial coordination and documentation (Planning only)

Coordinates daily production requirements with supervisors and team leaders as required to meet customer and warehouse requirements
