HVAC Technician

1st Shift

$25-$35 an hour plus 1.5 for OT!

Noblesville, IN


Aegis Worldwide is proud to partner with a reputable manufacturing company based in Noblesville, IN in search of a HVAC Technician to join their growing team! This 1st shift opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in HVAC within production/ manufacturing/ warehouse environments, air ducts, and experience completing maintenance on HVAC systems, pumps, chillers and boilers!

Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled inspections, adjustments, and routine cleaning in alignment with the maintenance calendar for equipment, machinery, and facility systems.


Conduct routine upkeep and preventive service on mechanical and facility infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and longevity.


Diagnose issues and perform corrective repairs or part replacements on equipment, machinery, and facility components when necessary.


Collaborate with operators, technicians, and supervisors to address technical issues and equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.


Adhere to lockout/tagout protocols and follow all relevant safety standards when servicing or repairing machinery or facility systems.


Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during maintenance activities.


Maintain and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including related components like pumps, thermolators, chillers, and boilers.


Assist with the installation and setup of HVAC infrastructure, including ductwork, piping, and electrical elements.


Remove and properly dispose of outdated or non-functional machinery and equipment.


Provide support to HVAC contractors during diagnostics or system installations.


Ensure consistent use of safety equipment and procedures while working on or near machinery, systems, or facility utilities.


Follow all required safety protocols, including equipment lockout/tagout, during maintenance or repair tasks.


Provide hands-on support to production teams to maintain smooth and efficient operations.



Qualifications:

Highschool diploma or equivalent required
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
Tech I: A degree or certification in a related field and/or 2 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility
Tech II: A degree in a related field and/or 5 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility
Tech III: A degree in a related field and/or 7 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility
